My work on the Best Buy partnership was in strategic sales. Using my information architecture and interface design skills, I pitched a retro-fitting and expansion of their previous website on a new platform.
Hundreds of hours of work went into the research and analysis of the customer's needs, leading to the creation of an optimized shopping experience for their wireless category on Best Buy Cellular Solutions.
I worked directly with the BestBuy online, category, and retail managers to ensure the UI created adhered to their guidelines and met their business needs.
I provided project management thorugh initial phases of development, in addition to redlines and full product requirements documentation (RFPs) for the technical teams.
News of the multi-year exclusive contract with Best Buy contract was an important annoucement during InPhonic's Q3 2006 earnings report, as Best Buy is the largest consumer electronics retailer in the United States.
